A Journey of Prophetic Faith & Restoration

How God combined a professional foundation, personal deliverance, and a 10-year-old dream to launch a ministry on the frontlines.

I am allergic to religion that condemns, but I am fully consumed by the radical, unconditional love of Jesus that restores the most broken lives.

A Blueprint of Faith: From Dream to Reality

In 2010, while still away from God, I received a vivid, highly detailed dream about a space called‘The Living Room’ located above a strip club on Tenerife, where I was serving coffee to the homeless and broken. It was a place full of light and acceptance. At the time, I couldn’t place it.

After a severe personal collapse due to a deep traumatic experience, I entered treatment at De Hoop (a Christian addiction care center). There, through the unconditional love of the staff, the seed of faith got revived. God did a deep work of emotional healing – even giving me the grace to completely forgive and pray for people who had severely abused me. My heart was blown wide open for the Gospel.

The Spark & The Professional Foundation

My heart for the marginalized comes from a personal place. Having overcome a short but intense battle with brokenness and addiction twelve years ago, my radical deliverance transformed into a lifelong mission.
To back my passion with professional expertise, I spent five years working within addiction care in the Netherlands. Understanding the behavioral patterns, and systemic realities behind substance abuse equipped me with the wisdom, and professional boundaries needed to handle severe trauma and complex mental health issues.

Living on the Frontlines of Tenerife

In 2019, I drove an old van straight back to Tenerife, determined to find what God had spoken ten years prior. Through a supernatural encounter with an Irish believer at a local meeting, I was led to a church outreach. They walked me into a building, up the stairs, and I gasped: I was standing exactly inside the room from my 2010 dream. The Living Room was real, down to the very layout and location above a strip club.

For the next five years, I lived in vans and tents directly among the homeless and addicts on the island. Caring Arms was forged here. By moving in high spiritual discernment, prophetic prayer, and deliverance ministry, we didn’t just hand out food – we saw chains break. Several people were baptized, delivered, and discipled out of addiction into a new life.

Bjarne now works as a volunteer evangelist for Caring Arms, guided by the vision of his vivid dream he once had.
